Undertook a 1-year foot and ankle clinical and research fellowship at the University Hospital Aintree in conjunction with Liverpool University.

University of Utah, Utah, United States of America 2011

Using the monetary award given to allow travel to a specialist center, I visited Prof. Saltzman at the University of Utah. Prof. Saltzman is the Professor and Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Utah, where he holds the LS Peery Presidential Endowed Chair and an adjunct Professorship in the Department of Bioengineering. He is a past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and a worldwide respected surgeon in his field.

British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society Traveling Fellowship

Using the monetary award given to allow travel to a specialist center, I visited Prof. Hans Zwipp (President of the AO-ASIF Foot and Ankle Expert Group and Member of the AO International faculty) where I was involved in treatment of complex fractures such as pilon, tibial/fibular, talar, calcaneal, midfoot and forefoot. Professor Zwipp is one of the most highly regarded academic foot and ankle traumatologists in the world, dedicating his career to the advancement of this specialty throughout the world.

Completed a 6-year registrar rotation, rotating through jobs encompassing all aspects of trauma and orthopaedics, taking an especial interest in foot and ankle surgery
